Insurance
We will work hand-in-hand with you to maximize your insurance reimbursement for covered procedures. Because insurance policies vary, we can only estimate your coverage in good faith, but cannot guarantee coverage, due to the complexities of insurance contracts. We ask that your estimated portion be paid at the time of service.
It is important to contact your insurance carrier to determine your benefits. Patients should familiarize themselves with the coverage on their plan (exam, prophies, fluoride, restorations, crowns, ect). Ultimately, patients have the responsibility to know their plan’s coverage.
We specifically encourage patients to check on two common areas of potential conflict:
- First, note when the new year begins for your coverage plan. A new year of benefits does not necessarily begin with January 1st; it instead will depend on when your plan was initiated by your employer.
- Second, policies tend to cover 2 prophy (cleaning) appointments per year or one prophy every 6 months. In the case of one every 6 months, scheduling is very important to ensure you receive the maximum coverage.
We accept all insurance plans that allow you to see the dentist of your choice. Additionally, we are in-network with some plans (PPO) . We will ask for your insurance information prior to your initial appointment.
If you have any problems or questions, please ask our staff. They are well-informed and up-to-date. They can be reached by phone at 630-820-2020.
